Aaron Hoff is the Founder of the Ultimate Hawaiian Trail Run, the Keala Foundation and previous owner of CrossFit Poipu. He was born and raised on Kauai. In his teenage years, he got caught up in the drug culture on the island and got sober at the age of 23. Aaron started working with the youth and adults on the recovery side of addiction. He found CrossFit about 7 years ago and has been using it as a tool to create an environment and new culture that sustains healthy lifestyles in a saturated drug culture that is so predominant on the island of Kauai. He now has an established foundation that provides free CrossFit all year round at three locations on different parts of the island. He currently has 600+ kids coming through the program year-round.
